Suppression

In my society, cohabitation is taboo for two people who are not yet officially married. The people in this painting have encountered an internal contradiction because satisfying their sexual needs and sexual desires is accompanied by feelings of guilt and transgression of the condemned laws in society. This work is a protest by the repressed emotional feelings of human beings against the culture, religion, and regulations that human beings have set for themselves.
