Desert Serenity

This is a dream narrative, a dream of a night in desert serenity, a portrayal of unrelated objects together that we see in sleeping hallucinations.

I poured the coffee aimlessly on the paper and spent hours drawing lines on the coffee-made patterns with pigment ink, and I was drowned in the story of my desert. Inside my desert, a sleeping girl is surrounded by demons, desert stars, silence, nothingness, and anything that means serenity to me.

Sometimes bad things happen to us in life and we have no explanation for them. The beginning of this artwork was after one of those events, and this painting gave me time to think more profoundly about what happened to me. One of the benefits of watching ourselves from above is healing our wounds. Because people can forgive themselves, even if they have committed the most unforgivable human mistakes. Every human being must forgive himself for his mistakes and start all over again and try to correct himself. Besides, if it is not like this, can we name ourselves human?
